It was an important day for both of us and alhamdulillah, everything proceeded smoothly without a hitch. On the evening of 19th July, I was already at her house in Pontian, Johor to help out wherever I can for the big event of our lives. And at around 9pm, I brought my entourage who travelled all the way from Muar and Batu Pahat to Pontian to attend our engagement.

After the exchange of engagement gifts and the engagement ring, everyone proceeded outside and have a candlelight dinner with some delicious home-made Chicken Rice prepared by Mak Diang, my fiancee’s mother. Abang Fahmi was at hand to usher in the crowd. Most of them are my relatives.
