Marriage is arrive on tops curvy tarmac .

Love is losing your appetite.
Marriage is losing your figure.

Love is sweet nothing in the ear.
Marriage is sweet nothing in the bank.

TV has no place in love.
Marriage is a fight for remote control.

Love is 1 drink and 2 straws.
Marriage is “Don’t you think you’ve had enough!”.

Conclusion: “Love is blind, marriage is an eye-opener!”
As for me all of that is not counted, truth is the main factor of all!

Our nikah (solemnization) ceremony

1st May 2010 is the date that MOHD ELFIE NIESHAEM BIN JUFERI & MAZUIN BINTI OSMAN @ STEPHEN JOHN CLARKE had been solemnized by the qadhi a.k.a. wali nasab at Masjid Jamek Pontian in Johor, Malaysia. Here is a video recording of us together during and after the happy event.

Wedding reception in Pontian

Finally the wedding reception in Pontian, Johor, has ended and on the whole, it went very well for the both of us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all guests, including our families, relatives and friends who came all the way to Dewan SM Pei Chun to attend our wedding reception. It was a great experience for the both of us to share our happiness of the occasion with all of you. If there were any shortcomings during the reception, we apologise on the behalf of our families as the turnout was higher than we had initially expected.

Pictures of the event will be uploaded for those who were unable to attend our reception.

Nikah at 2.30pm today

The nikah ceremony will be held at Awin’s house in Pontian at 2.30 PM today (Saturday). I have to admit that I am too excited for the life-altering moment that I am currently suffering from a minor bout of insomnia (its almost 3AM in the morning now). I guess I will have to sleep shortly but I really look forward to the Event which is just several hours away. My family will be leaving our home in Kuala Lumpur for Pontian, which is a 4 hours’ long trip. Our relatives will be joining us along the way, so it will form one long convoy trip to her house. Goodness, I am at loss on what to think at the moment. I am going to be her husband soon.

Please make du’a for us both and that insha’allah, everything will go smoothly.

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching his wife, who was looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what she’d like to have for her birthday.

“I’d like to be six again”, she replied, still looking in the mirror.

On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall
of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster, everything there was.

Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to a McDonald’s where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M’s. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed, exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, ‘Well Dear, what was it like being six again?’

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.

‘I meant my dress size, you retard!!!!’

The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he is gonna get it wrong.

Marriage will be soon

Although we have decided that we need to postponed our marriage date to a later date by middle of next year (2010), the bride still have tingling feelings on our special day. The reasons for the postponed date are something related with our future benefits and would definitely a delay of gratifications. The Groom would obviously focus on his business and expand whatever could on saving money for our future savings and needs in our happy family, insya’ Allah.

We still cherish the moment together and even love getting stronger bonding us together. The sacrifices that he and her have made and will be doing for their entire life, has shown that our relationship would been blessed by Allah swt as he’s the Greatest of all (insyallah) would ensure our destiny together. Eventhough, there are bad times and sad times and happy times and cheerful times, we will always love each other until death do us apart. Insyallah, with Allah’s will we do hope that we would lead our way through life that going to be blossomed by a dozen of our own kids ( ahakz, can we achieve that target sayang? Hope so… She will be 41 by then if all born of a year gap…ahahaha).

Our 2nd anniversary

Today, we celebrated the second year we met each other. We went to nice restaurant next to Tasik Shah Alam (Shah Alam Lake). It was our first time there and we enjoyed the moment together.

The restaurant is known as Floating Restaurant; the location is really strategic whereby it is near to PKNS and the famous Shah Alam Mosque.

We ate a lot of nice things, pictures will be uploaded later.

It’s Awin’s birthday today. Although it’s in the month of Ramadhan, MENJ did not mind coming all the way from KL to Johor and give her the sweetest gift ever :p Awin never thought of having the gift from elfie since she’s always begging for it but nothing in return.

Well, I know Awin will really sure love MENJ more than ever because of the romantic guy he is to Awin.
